Offering Supervision for REAT Certification

About

"I am passionate about using trauma-informed Expressive Arts Therapy to promote self-discovery, healing and personal empowerment."

My name is Jennifer Martin and I am a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Seattle, Washington. I am passionate about using trauma-informed Expressive Arts Therapy to promote self-discovery, healing and personal empowerment.

I completed my master’s work in Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy in 2013. I began my career leading Expressive Arts Therapy groups at The Meadows, a renowned treatment center in Arizona specializing in trauma and addiction. In this capacity, I worked with over 60 patients weekly. During my first three years in Seattle, I led weekly Expressive Arts Therapy groups in a residential setting at The Emily Program — a national leader in the treatment of eating disorders.

In addition to being an REAT, I am a Somatic Experience Practitioner (SEP), yoga instructor, and trained in EMDR. I also completed trainings in Trauma-Informed Art Therapy and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Instruction.

I am currently offering telehealth supervision for those working towards REAT certification. I am excited to help you find your authentic voice as an Expressive Arts Therapist. Please contact me with any questions!
